Well Cavaliers Are Such Teddy Bears

This is a new story I read on BBC News - Mansfield police officers smash window to save toy dog which in all fairness... the teddy does look just like a sleeping cavalier!
A passer-by mistook "Little Willy" for a real dog

My first attempt at crocheting a dog harness

I managed to finish the harnesses today without a certain someone running off with my wool! Morgana did spend the whole time staring at me from her bed across the room but I'm pretty happy with the result. Cassie was pretty impressed with the harness as well; she wouldn't stay still for a picture and became her usual excited bouncy ball. For my first attempt at a harness I'm quite proud of myself :)
The finished result!

Yay! A picture of Cassie that wasn't a blur of fur!

Morgana seemed a little annoyed that I used the wool to make a harness instead of letting her play with it...

Morgana and my track suit bottoms

So I know about my sister stealing my clothes but there's something a little odd when your chihuahua tries to... I'm not sure if its because I had just managed to tip tea down myself or if she just likes how warm my clothes are (she loves stealing my hoodies and my socks), this time I found that she had actually climbed inside my track suit bottoms. Maybe she wants to go for a jog?

The missing medical bracelet

We have been waiting for weeks now for my sisters special medical bracelet to arrive. She needs the bracelet for when she leaves secondary school and goes to college to let people know that she has a severe heart condition.

Today we gave up waiting and called up the suppliers to find out a man had signed for the package but it wasn't any of us! Supposedly it had been left with one of our neighbours, but they didn't sign for it.

When I told Morgana what happened she was not impressed at all! She is now watching out for a man wearing a pretty red bracelet with the special medical symbol....

My chihuahua thinks she is a cat!

See how Morgana plays with the mini pompoms on my dressing gown... sometimes I wonder if she is just a funny little dog or a cat in disguise but then I settle on the fact she is just a little diva.

Attack of the cute

Thanks to urban pup on facebook I have been introduced to Attack of the cute. This website isn't for those who are obsessed with the cute factor, it has taken me an hour to get off of the site!
Here are some teeny animals that I found on there...

Good thing its not a real rabbit!

The girls love their toys, Cassie in particular loves sleeping with her teddies but today Morgana decided she was going to try and eat Bunnys stuffing out through his ears. Cassie jumped to his rescue and even tucked his ears under her! In the end we had to sacrifice Little Ted to stop Morgana from trying to steal him back. Doesn't Morgana look evil.

Strange sleeping positions

Any dog owner out there probably has to retrace their steps and maybe tilt their head a little when watching their pup sleeping... I know I'm no exception especially with my two little troubles...

Morgana today...

Cassie always likes to sleep with a teddy...

I  guess Morgana does love cheese lol...

Cassies first toy

Just found this video from a year ago of Cassie Bears first day with us and her favourite toy :)

Cassies first day at home

Anyone who has had a chihuahua will know how hyper and demanding they can be. It didn't seem right to just have one dog, Morgana seemed to be lonely without her brothers and sisters. It took a couple of weeks of convincing but my mum gave in and our search for the new addition began. At first I was set on getting another chihuahua but my older brother was pretty determined to get a beagle. It was when we were walking Morgana that we came across a king charles cavalier and we knew straight away that cavaliers were definitely for us. Morgana was quite scared of the bigger dogs because she was tiny but a cavalier was the perfect size.

Luckily enough the breeder of the cavalier we fell in love with had a litter available but there were only two girls left. One little girl had huge puppy eyes and didn't have the typical cavalier spot on the top of her head, whilst the other little girl just seemed to enjoy jumping on her sister. The choice was pretty easy and we reserved the first one straight away. As soon as it came to bringing her home it seemed that all puppies liked turning into little gremlins. Cassie seemed to think that my hair was a toy!

However, unlike Morgana this little cutie really liked her sleep! The differences between the girls is still pretty obvious, Morgana is a little diva who thinks she is the size of a horse whilst Cassie isn't happy unless she is having a cuddle or eating and loves to wag her tail.
